We understand that it feels like just about every company you’ve ever given your email address to has sent you an email like this; we tried our best to avoid it! But now felt like the right time to let you know that it’s business as usual for us.
Around the world, many governments are taking decisive steps to ensure that the spread of COVID-19 is reduced and we “flatten the curve” to ensure healthcare services are able to cope with a more manageable number of cases.
Frogparking is uniquely global. Many of our team and customers are spread around the globe, meaning that a lot of the steps recommended for physical distancing are already a huge part of the way we do business. For example, many of our team already work remotely and we already spend many hours a week on Zoom, Google Hangout, or Skype.
You may have read that today, New Zealand will enter a “Level 4 COVID-19 Alert level” meaning people will be obligated to stay home, schools are closed, gatherings are cancelled only essential services will operate, and travel is restricted.
The truth is that we proactively made the call last week to have our New Zealand-based team work remotely. That means all of our hardware engineers, software and app developers, sales and marketing team, and production team are already working in accordance with the Level 4 measures enacted by the New Zealand Government.
For our Australian and United States team; it’s business as usual for them too. They’re full steam ahead with video calls, contactless site visits, and are already working from their remote locations.
For our customers, be assured that no virus will stop us! All Frogparking systems around the world will, of course, continue to perform as normal. Our team will perform remote maintenance where necessary as normal and onsite where and when it is safe to do so.
We will continue to work together with our customers to keep them and their businesses at the front of the field and ahead of their competitors. Our team is at full capacity. Rest assured they’re still innovating our technology, they’re just doing it remotely.
We will get through this by sticking together. Let’s talk.
