Sunshine Plaza is an 910,000 sq ft retail shopping centre on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.
The centre is managed by Lendlease Group, a publicly listed, multinational construction, property management, and infrastructure group with assets in 40 countries around the world in Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia.
With over 345 retailers, made up of supermarkets, department stores, cinemas, and restaurants, Sunshine Plaza is a true, mixed-use destination for residents and tourists.
As part of major redevelopments to the facility in 2016, parking guidance was prioritised as a significant way of improving the customer's journey to Sunshine Plaza. Customers would be more relaxed and ready to engage with their shopping experience following a positive parking experience, where the customer found an available space easily, experienced low congestion, and was able to park close to their destination in the mall.
